Outback / Gator / and Citrus Wraps....
This bowl season is unbelieveable. Georgia took care of Wisconsin according to plan and so did FSU by beating WV. Those were good games. But....the Capitol One Citrus Bowl was one for the ages. I thought LSU had no chance trailing by 12 points in the 4th quarter.
Then, they manufactured one of the greatest bowl comebacks in history to take the lead with 46 ticks left in the game before the miracle bomb by Iowa and Drew Tate. He took major points out of my column. Ugh! What a great game - too bad it didn't go my way. Iowa is a great team given all of the adversity they've overcome this year. LSU went down in a great game as a worthy defending champion. WOW!
Looks more and more like Mr. Freiliey will be the new champion. Only a few more games to go. Destiny seems to be shining on him this year. Great job with the overall record. The BCS games will be hard-pressed to top the Capitol One finish. Wow!
